Kamakura Daibutsu

Just a British girl living in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.

I moved to Japan in November 2017 and I discover new things all the time. When I’m not teaching English to elementary school students, I’m usually exploring, studying Japanese, or enjoying good food.

I hope that you enjoy this blog – I post about my adventures in Japan, what life is like here, and how it feels to live and work in a foreign country.

I try to post as often as possible, but new posts are always published on Sundays.

In the header bar, you can find my posts from my 2016 study trip to Fukuoka, my Japan Diary series, and a list of all the places I’ve already been to in Japan.

The header image was taken at Kushida Shrine in Hakata, Fukuoka.
